First, let’s remember that sanctions were announced earlier this morning.

But that’s not all.

George Parros and his team had two more sequences to review, involving Tom Wilson and Alexandre Carrier.

And the one involving Alex Ovechkin and Jake Evans.

First, regarding Tom Wilson, a decision was made earlier today.

And we now also have the verdict regarding Alex Ovechkin.

This one isn’t all that surprising, but since we were receiving questions about it, here you go.

It must be said that there were arguments.

But anyway, in the end, no sanction and no major penalty for Ovechkin, who had also gone after Alexandre Carrier a bit earlier in the game last night.

In my humble opinion, it’s fair to see Ovechkin cleared by the NHL for his hit on Jake Evans, but I absolutely believe that Tom Wilson deserved (at the very least) a quick phone call to explain himself to the league.
