Regarding his injury, it was clarified that he received PRP injections in both elbows, where he is suffering from tennis elbow, and as a result, he will start the season on the injured list.

For those who don’t know, almost a week ago it was reported that Stanton would see the Yankees’ doctor to address his elbow problem. It was revealed at that time that surgery would be the last resort; they would focus on non-invasive therapy first.
