The video was filmed from the back row of the cheating couple. While the whole stadium was immersed in the melody of Coldplay’s hit Yellow, Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot also had a romantic moment. They not only looked at each other longingly but also leaned in to kiss.

Also according to TMZ.com, people saw the tech CEO and his subordinate hugging on the kiss cam, but from their video, the angle showed a much more intimate interaction. “Because they weren’t seen by the whole stadium,” the article commented.

Describing the incident, the New York Post said that the couple, who are both colleagues and have families, laughed together, put their arms around each other and swayed to the song, while tens of thousands of spectators held up their phone flashlights. When the kiss cam turned on and projected their images onto a giant screen, both of them quickly bowed their heads and covered their faces, trying to avoid attention.

Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay, reacted humorously when he saw this scene: “Oh, look at these two… either they’re having an affair, or they’re very shy.”

Also according to the New York Post, Byron is negotiating his departure from Astronomer, while the company pledged to “release more details soon” about the situation.

As of now, neither CEO Andy Byron nor CPO Kristin Cabot have made any public comments regarding the incident.
