I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO THINK! Lilly and Jack Sullivan. Nova Scotia. Canada.
What began as a frantic search for six-year-old Lily and four-year-old Jack Sullivan has now turned into a haunting silence that grips Landown Station.

“It just blows my mind that there’s absolutely nothing.”

The RCMP has now released new information to the public about the movements of the two siblings before they disappeared.

“Based on the details gathered so far, we have confirmed that Lily and Jack were seen in public with family members on the afternoon of May 1st.”

On May 2nd, six-year-old Lily and four-year-old Jack Sullivan were reported missing from a trailer in Nova Scotia. There were no footprints, no screams — just an open door and their boots gone.

Malaya (biological mother):

“What happened was, we woke up. I heard them playing in the room next to us, and I dozed off again. Our kids aren’t the type we let go outside alone. We always make sure we’re out there watching them.

“But they managed to open the sliding door — and we can’t hear it when it opens. They must’ve gone outside to play without us knowing. Then everything went quiet. I asked my partner Daniel, ‘Do you hear the kids?’ He said no. We got up right away and ran outside calling for them. I called 911 immediately — it was just instinct.”

Daniel Martell (stepfather):

“These days have been incredibly hard. That Friday morning, the moment we realized they were gone, I jumped in the car and started driving around — dirt roads, culverts — everywhere I could before the police arrived.

“Lily and Jack are amazing kids. So kind. They’ll talk to anyone. They’d go with someone just to have fun.

“They took their boots — pink for Lily, blue with dinosaurs for Jack. Lily had a white backpack with strawberries on it. But if it’s been in the woods for days, it’s probably brown by now. I don’t even think they’re still carrying it. I don’t see Jack’s pull-up holding up after getting soaked the first day.

“We only found two sets of boot prints just 10 feet from the house — in the backyard. That’s all.”

“The helicopters are still flying overhead. Today they used search dogs and added eight more drones with infrared.

“I’m begging the public — if you know anything, even the smallest detail — report it to any police detachment as soon as you can.”

“Jack loves bugs and dinosaurs. Lily likes girly things, but she also loved doing whatever Jack was doing. They’re not just siblings — they’re best friends.

“That first day, I was ahead of the helicopters and drones, running through the woods, screaming until my throat hurt, through waist-deep water.

“But when I came back, they wouldn’t let me return to the forest until someone in military uniform gave me permission.”

Four days into the search, Daniel Martell is pleading with the public to stay alert — though he’s beginning to lose hope that the children are still in the area.

“They hate being cold and wet. If they had gotten outside, they would’ve come right back home.

“The only prints we found were facing the road — and then nothing.”

“I’m still out here, still searching, still fighting to find them. That’s all I can do.”

Daniel also revealed that he had requested a polygraph test.

Reporter:

“Is that for you?”

Daniel:

“It’s not just for me — it’s for everyone. I asked for it early on. But there aren’t many places in Canada that can do it, so they’re flying someone in.”

Reporter:

“Why do you feel you need to take one? Do you think people don’t believe you?”

Daniel:

“I think Malaya’s side of the family doesn’t believe me. I just want to clear everything up — not just for the people online making crazy accusations, but for everyone.”

The last confirmed RCMP search location was Lancetown Lake, where divers thoroughly scanned the water.

“If they were in this area, they would have been found.”

Daniel:

“My family is still searching.”
