One Block home has a very flashy new addition in its driveway!
The Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa challenge has been decided, with one team’s space earning them the mammoth $260,000 Titanium caravan prize.
It was a weeks-long challenge with the biggest prize in Block history up for grabs – so who better to decide the winner than former judge Neale Whitaker?
Look who’s back! (Nine)
Neale had spent an incredible 13 years as a judge on The Block before taking a step back in 2023 to focus on his partner David who was dealing with serious health issues.
In May 2024, Neale confirmed he would be permanently handing over the judging reigns to Marty Fox, but that didn’t stop him from heading to Daylesford for a very special surprise appearance in Episode 24.
Almost all of the teams thought they were in with a chance to walk away with the caravan… except Han and Can, whose “interesting” space had been the talk of The Block all week.
Walking into Emma and Ben’s bathhouse space, he thought the grey room felt surprisingly warm.

“What I like about this is you just want to relax, you don’t want something that’s too busy,” he praised.
He believed Britt and Taz had also nailed the ‘chilled out’ vibe and loved how their three different tile colours complimented each other… but could’ve done without their plant choices.
“That’s minor stuff. Overall, I think they’ve made good choices,” he said.
Robby and Mat had taken a very different approach, creating a very pink space.
Did Neale like the pink? (Nine)
“The pinks works well with the rose gold tapware, somebody is thinking about the overall presentation,” he judged.
However, he worried the pink may date the room in the future and was not a fan of their floor tiles.
Sonny and Alicia had definitely taken the challenge the most seriously of the teams. In fact, they had tried so hard that they worried it would be embarrassing if they lost!
“Wow,” Neale said upon entering, and his feedback only got better from there.

“It’s impressive in its simplicity,” he gushed.
Neale also muttered “wow” as he entered the final room of the day, Han and Can’s bathhouse space.

But it was certainly not the same type of wow that Sonny and Alicia had got!
“I haven’t said this for a very long time but this is a crime scene,” Neale said.
He continued, saying it was “all wrong”.
“All of those individual elements can be fine on their own but not together. It’s a mess, it’s everything that a spa experience shouldn’t be.”
Savage!
It was time to award the winner and Neale was pleased to announce it was… House 4’s Sonny and Alicia!
A hard earned win! (Nine)
It was instant tears from the pair, who struggled to find the words to explain how much this meant to them.
“I can’t talk or I’ll cry,” Sonny reacted.
It’s official: move over Scotty, your caravan is heading to House 4!
