Stranded On Honeymoon Island star and TikTok personality Amy Dickinson has uploaded her Big Brother 2025 audition tape, admitting that it was “a little unhinged”.
Amy said Big Brother was going to be uploading the audition tapes to their YouTube channel and she was going to “beat them to the chase”, saying there was “no shame in being a little unhinged”.

TikTok star reveals Big Brother audition video
Amy said the video had been filmed a month prior, when she wasn’t doing so well, calling it a hard watch in the caption.
In the audition video, Amy says she’s been crying for the past month after being ghosted by the guy she thought was her soulmate. She goes on to state why she’d be great in the Big Brother house, saying she’s a natural performer, does standup comedy, and also referenced her reality TV stint on Honeymoon Island.
“I constantly choose the wrong men, not that I’m going to the Big Brother house to find love, but if I did, I’d totally root him on camera,” Amy said.

After sharing the video, Amy reiterated it was a hard watch, saying she filmed it during one of the worst times of her life. “I was so broken and depressed, and I feel sorry for my old self,” she said.
Speaking with Chattr, Amy said the response to her audition video has been really positive.
“I filmed it on a whim in one take, as I believe it’s more important to be yourself than be polished when it comes to reality TV auditions. I wouldn’t change anything, as the video was raw and honest. My eyes were puffy from crying, I wasn’t wearing makeup, my hair was a mess… I could’ve done myself up and shown the producers a more perfect version of myself, but that wouldn’t authentic,” she said.
The Big Brother 2025 cast hasn’t been announced but Amy also hasn’t ruled out another reality stint in the future. “I would definitely do MAFS!” she told Chattr. “If any producers are reading this, you know where to find me.”
When will Big Brother reveal the 2025 cast?
So far, things are pretty tight-lipped but with the news that the show is uploading audition tapes, chances are we’ll hopefully find out more soon.
Channel Ten has promised “relatable everyday Australians”. Applications for the new season are open until Monday, September 1, so there’s still time to apply!

Big Brother Australia 2025 is launching across Network 10 platforms in the last quarter of 2025, so it’s a little while off. A job advertisement shared by EndemolShine Australia, looking for Queensland-based Post Producers, Editors and Edit Assistants, gave a date range of early November to early December 2025. Seeing as this iteration is live-streaming, it’s likely we’ll get our first episode in November.
