So, Daniel came to the front door, and there were two RCMP officers there.
And they asked about the blanket.
And Daniel said, “Yeah, I threw it in the garbage.”
And he went out to the garbage and pulled it out.
And they looked at the blanket and then walked away.
That’s the only part of the blanket that I know of.
I don’t know anything else about that blanket.
But I will say this:
That if someone had of taken the kids,
and wanted to kill the kids,
the easiest thing for them to do
would have been to grab the kids and that blanket,
and wrap that blanket around them.
And they would have been dead in seconds.
Because that blanket was heavy.
It was thick.
It was warm.
And they could have been suffocated in it.
So I want people to know that,
yes, the blanket was thrown in the garbage.
Yes, Daniel went and got the blanket.
Yes, the RCMP looked at it.
Yes, the RCMP gave it back to Daniel.
Yes, it was put back in the garbage.
It was picked up with the garbage.
There was no body parts in it.
There was no blood in it.
There was nothing in that blanket
that could have ever told a story
about Jack and Lily.
The only thing that blanket would have told
is that it was used by the family,
and it was thrown in the garbage.
I know that it was picked up in the garbage.
And I know that it’s not here.
And I know that nobody took it from here.
I also know, from what I’m understanding,
the one that they found was full of stickers.
The one that we had did not have stickers on it.
And the one that we had had a certain pattern.
So I don’t know what blanket they’re showing.
I don’t know where the blanket came from.
I don’t know what the story is.
I have no idea.
All I know is the blanket that we had
was thrown in the garbage
and was picked up with the garbage.
So you can stop pointing fingers.
Because you’re not pointing fingers at the right people.
You don’t know what’s going on.
You don’t know the real story.
You don’t even know the people you’re attacking.
And for anybody that wants to come on and say,
“Oh, you got a criminal record,”
“Oh, you went to jail,”
“Oh, you went to prison,”
I got news for you:
I did.
And I don’t regret it.
Because I am one of the only mothers
that will stand up and fight
for her children to be safe.
And if I had to go to prison
to make my children safe,
then I did the right thing.
And if you don’t understand that,
you’re part of the problem.
And for all these people out there
who are saying that they want Jack and Lily to be found —
you don’t.
You want them to be dead.
Because it gives you something to gossip about.
It gives you something to talk about.
If Jack and Lily came back alive tomorrow,
your story would be over.
And you’d have to go back to your own miserable life.
You guys are ridiculous.
And you need to stop.
You need to stop attacking this family.
