Married At First Sight’s Jamie Marinos has spoken out after sparking pregnancy rumours on social media over the weekend. The 29-year-old attended a Voir Vodka event in Melbourne with her co-stars Eliot Donovan and Teejay Halkias and appeared in a gallery of snaps shared by the popular reality TV account @mafsgossip.
One photo shows Jamie posing alongside Eliot, who she is rumoured to be dating, in an all-black outfit that gives the illusion of a small baby bump. Fans quickly took to the comments to point out the surprising detail and question if Jamie was actually pregnant.
“Is it me or does Jamie look like she’s got a bump?” one fan wrote, while another added, “Was about to say same thing. Just don’t know if it’s a baby bump or photoshopped to look like it. But 100% it’s a bump”.
Is Jamie pregnant?
Jamie tells Yahoo Lifestyle that while she agrees it looks like she has a baby bump in her photo with Eliot, she definitely isn’t pregnant.
“How funny would it be if at an event for an alcohol brand I announce a pregnancy, except it wouldn’t be funny because I’d be so pissed the f**k off that I’m sober,” she says.
She also took to the comments on the post to shut down any fan speculation, and joked that the “countless” vodkas she consumed on the night confirm that she’s not with child.
“I’m going to blame the lighting on that, because it does and I can assure you there’s no bump,” she wrote. “Why am I excited now for a non-existent baby?”

Are Jamie and Eliot dating?
Since this year’s season of MAFS finished airing in April, there have been plenty of rumours swirling that Jamie and Eliot are now dating. The duo, who have emerged as the two most popular participants on social media, regularly attend events together, film TikToks, and leave flirty comments on each other’s Instagram posts.
After initially refusing to address the speculation online, Jamie finally answered a question about Eliot during a Q&A last month and clarified that they are “really good friends”.
“He’s been such a great support system, always makes me laugh and I’m super grateful to have him around,” she said. “We are both single, and focusing on ourselves at the moment – but who knows what the future holds.”
Eliot also told Yahoo Lifestyle that he and Jamie are like “two peas in a pod”, but it would be difficult for them to pursue a relationship as he lives on the Gold Coast and she lives in Melbourne.
“Jamie is an absolute babe. I’d be super lucky to be in a relationship with her and I have really enjoyed doing all this media stuff with her, but the reality is we live in different states and we have different lifestyles,” he said.
“We’ve got enough on our plate as it is to try to navigate an interstate relationship with each other. She’ll always be really close friend of mine and I wouldn’t rule out more, but right now, we are just friends.”
