Rihanna has given fans a glimpse into her future with longtime partner A$AP Rocky following his recent legal victory.

Just days after the rapper was acquitted of felony assault charges, the 37-year-old music and business mogul shared some insight into her long-term aspirations,
including a potential family venture.
During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Rihanna revealed that she envisions starting a family winery once their two young sons—RZA, 2,

and Riot, 18 months—are old enough to participate.

She expressed a deep appreciation for winemaking as an art form and said that owning a vineyard is something she would love to pursue later in life.

“I think I’ll do wine later in my life,” Rihanna said. “Because I respect the art of it all, and we would want to have our own family vineyard.”
This potential business move would add to the billionaire’s already impressive portfolio, which includes her Fenty Beauty cosmetics empire and Savage X Fenty lingerie brand. But her entrepreneurial ambitions don’t stop there. The singer also shared that she is interested in venturing into furniture and home design, signaling yet another expansion of her brand beyond music and fashion.
Rihanna’s Long-Awaited Album and Artistic Evolution
While Rihanna’s business endeavors have kept her busy, fans have been eagerly awaiting new music. In the same interview, she teased her long-anticipated ninth studio album—dubbed R9—and opened up about the creative process behind it.
She revealed that the album does not adhere to a specific genre, as she has spent years exploring different styles before settling on what truly feels authentic to her.
“This feels right,” she said. “It feels like it digs right into where I need to be, and I want this. This body of work needs to come out, and I’m ready to go there.”
Rihanna admitted that although she has been in the studio over the past eight years, it took time for her to find the direction she truly connected with.
She wanted to ensure that after such a long hiatus from music, her return would be meaningful and worth the wait.
“I’ve been in the studio the whole eight years. But it didn’t hit me. I was searching for it,” she shared. “Every time, I was just like, ‘No, it’s not me. It’s not right.
It’s not matching my growth. It’s not matching my evolution. I can’t do this. I can’t stand by this. I can’t perform this for a year on tour.’”

Now, she says she has finally cracked the code. “I know it’s not going to be anything that anybody expects. And it’s not going to be commercial or radio digestible. It’s going to be where my artistry deserves to be right now.”
Rihanna Stands by A$AP Rocky During His Legal Battle
Rihanna’s excitement about the future comes after a tense period for her family. Her partner, A$AP Rocky, recently faced a felony gun assault trial, but was acquitted of all charges.
His legal team, including attorney Joe Tacopina, revealed that Rocky initially did not want Rihanna to attend the proceedings, hoping to shield her from the stress of the case.
However, the Umbrella singer was determined to be by his side. Tacopina recalled that Rihanna told him, “Wild horses aren’t gonna keep me away.”
She attended court, providing unwavering support for her partner, and was visibly emotional when the verdict was announced.
“After the verdict, her emotions came to the forefront—crying, hugging Rocky, hugging me, hugging Rocky’s family,” Tacopina shared. “She was a rock for Rocky.”
Rihanna reportedly breathed a sigh of relief as the jury found Rocky not guilty, knowing that he had faced a potential 24-year prison sentence.

Looking Ahead
With the trial behind them, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky appear focused on their family and future plans.
Whether it’s launching a wine business, expanding into home design, or finally releasing R9, Rihanna is setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in both her personal and professional life.
For now, fans will have to wait and see which project she tackles first. But one thing is certain—Rihanna is ready to take on whatever comes next, alongside the family she has built with A$AP Rocky.
