EXCLUSIVE: There’s a new face on The Block this year, although you might not have seen him because he spends most of his time behind the scenes.

Whether you recognise him or not, there’s not denying he’s made a massive difference to the seasonThe Block this year.

When you think of a Block contestant, you often think ‘high-vis, boots, mud and a whole lot of paint’.

But in the next scene they’re scrubbed up and glammed up ready to take on the judges’ feedback.

It’s all thanks to a little TV magic and the help of “Mr Fabulous” a.k.a Andrew, the first official Block wardrobe stylist.

This year marks the first time the contestants have had an official stylist and the class of 2025 are glad Mr Fabulous has taken a load off their plate.

“He’s amazing, everything we’re wearing is because of him,” Taz said of Mr Fabulous.

Britt said that coming on The Block they didn’t “have many nice clothes” packed. Simply because they live in the “desert” and all their nice clothes are in storage!

“When [production] said we need to pack 28 outfits or something to come here, we were like, ‘we don’t have that’,” she smiled.

That’s when Mr. Fabulous came in to save the day.

Do you think the Blockheads really styled themselves during the clay shooting challenge?

“You’re so brain-dead and come Sunday you don’t even know what to wear,” Robby explained.

“You haven’t showered, you’re run down and covered in dirt he styles us up the most gorgeous outfits for Sunday reveals,” said Can.

“He takes out the choice of having to choose an outfit, which is amazing,” second Han.

But sometimes Mr Fabulous will test each contestant’s personal style.

“He tried to get me in a mini skirt!” laughed Han.

While Ben shared a personal comment that will make you laugh.
