In a twist that’ll leave some Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) viewers bitter, it has been rumoured that Farmer Thomas will be exiting the show early with (thankfully) a wife!

In a massive, humongous, mammoth FWAW tea spill, an insider has claimed that South Australian farmer Thomas is set to exit the show next week. And adding to the show’s brand spanking success rate, it’s been rumoured that he will be leaving with a wife!

Speaking to Woman’s Day, the insider dished that Thomas will be leaving the show early with… drum roll please… Clarette! While it appears that the bloke has clocked a happy ending, the alleged decision to leave the show early reportedly sent Channel Seven producers scrambling.

“The producers begged him to stay, but he was already gone,” an insider told the publication.

“Whether it was Clarette calling the shots or Farmer Thomas simply being over the whole thing, there was no convincing him to stick around.

“His mind was made up, and that was that.”

With Farmer Thomas tipped to leave next, this season’s finale will only feature two farmers, Corey and Jack. Jack joined the show mid-season after Jarrad and Tom found their wives.

For those who need a recap, in Week Three, Jarrad picked Chloe. A couple of weeks later, Tom picked Georgie.

“The show has never seen so many farmers leave this early into filming. In fact, it marks the highest number of farmers abandoning production in the franchise’s global history,” the source continued.

The insider also told the publication that fellow Farmer Thomas suitors, Rachael and Laura, knew that he was going to pick Clarette and were just playing along for the show.

“They knew Farmer Thomas was already emotionally checked out and heading home with Clarette,” the insider added before warning that Thomas’ exit will feel rushed.

“Viewers will notice his exit feels rushed and they really have only seen fragments of his final week,” the source dished.

As I say in all these reality TV tea articles, these are only rumours!!! So please, take it with a grain of salt.

That being said, I am not surprised that Thomas has been tipped to pick Clarette. I felt like throughout the whole show, he and the English school teacher had really good chemistry.

But it also makes me wonder if Thomas would’ve picked Claire if she had stuck around.

I guess we’ll have to wait for next week’s episodes to see if the bloke makes an abrupt exit… with a (potential) wife!
