At the end of the Montreal Canadiens’ season, all eyes are on the young sensation Ivan Demidov.

As a reminder, yesterday, in an exclusive report, journalist Marco D’Amico got the scoop and announced that Demidov would be released from his KHL contract and would immediately sign with the Montreal Canadiens.

Several other journalists have mentioned it in the past few hours, but it seems there are still a few things to sort out before we see him play his first game with the Habs.

However, according to the man himself, it should happen before the end of the regular season, so within a week.

Ivan Demidov speaks out and says he will most likely be available in time to play before the end of the regular season

And the regular season ends in one week.

So the time of his first game with the Montreal Canadiens will be.. within a week! Wow.

We’re so excited:

“Most likely, l’ll have time to play in the regular season for Montreal,” Demidov said exclusively to RG.

“My goal for the rest of the season is to adapt to this new style of hockey as quickly as possible and show what l’m capable of.”

We’re really looking forward to it!

Update: A game has just been targeted for Ivan Demidov’s long-awaited debut with the Montreal Canadiens

It didn’t take long for Marco D’Amico to get the scoop on his likely first game in Montreal. Demidov is expected to make his debut Monday against Chicago, live from the Bell Centre!

What excellent work from the journalist.

Definitely something to keep an eye on, it’s getting close!
