But with declining foot traffic and increased financial strain, the Atlanta-based company is reportedly preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

That has a lot of people hurting. But perhaps none more than Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker — who tagged the chain on X after hearing the news.

“Plz don’t go @Hooters,” the All-NBA guard said.

Fans got quite the kick out of Book’s post on social media.

“I thought this was a fake account… Ain’t no way Booker gooning,” a user commented.

“a man with purpose!” another replied.

“Devin Booker is a big fan of wings,” a podcast shared.

“The fellas are devastated,” a fan posted.

“No way this is a real tweet,” another person laughed.

“dbook hacked??” another user asked.

“Ima miss the hooter days too. This generation didn’t get rewarded after aau ball and it shows LOL.”

“It’s time to save hooters,” another fan agreed.

Booker has voiced his support of Hooters several times over the years. Tweeting on at least a few occasions that he was heading their with his friends.

Of course, Hooters has never really been known for its food as much as its waitresses’ uniforms.

Either way though, the next few months will definitely be pivotal for the famous wing establishment as it seeks to avoid extinction.
