We experienced a very special end to the evening last night at the Bell Centre, thanks in large part to Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki.

Some are even calling it a small miracle, especially because the two improbable points picked up last night truly change everything in the current NHL playoff race.

The Canadiens’ wild finish changes everything in the playoff race.

I still have chills:

A strong message delivered by Nick Suzuki

After the game, the Canadiens organization released their now-classic video showing what happened in the locker room post-game, and it’s a beautiful thing to see.

Check out the footage.

Unsurprisingly, the mood was celebratory, and rightfully so!

We see Juraj Slafkovsky hand the game goggles to his captain Nick Suzuki, no surprise there, and then Suzuki steps up and says:

“Great Job Boys,

We’re going to keep believing in ourselves and make the playoffs!”

A message that says a lot! The guys believe in themselves, and we love it!

A big win for the Canadiens in the NHL standings

Let’s not forget that Martin St. Louis’ squad won by a score of 3-2 in overtime, thanks to a game-tying goal from Suzuki with just nine seconds left in regulation.

Then, Captain Suzuki scored again in overtime to seal the win for his team.

In the victory, Lane Hutson picked up three points (three assists)!

There’s something special happening with this team.
