Missing Nova Scotia Kids – RCMP release a new statement on Lilly and Jack Sullivan (June 2025)
So, there’s been absolutely no new information coming out on what the RCMP and investigators think happened to Lily and Jack Sullivan. They went missing on May 2nd, 2025. Today is June 11th, 2025, so well over a month since they absolutely just vanished without a trace.
There have been no leads, no suspects, no nothing as to what police and investigators believe happened — or at least, nothing they have put out publicly. Like I’ve said before in previous videos, hopefully that means they’re just keeping everything a secret so they can work on the investigation without leaks or anything getting out there.
But I guess only time will tell.
Now, just a few minutes ago, the RCMP on Facebook — which is facebook.com/rcmpns, the Nova Scotia page for the RCMP — posted a new statement about the situation.
Here’s what it said:
“The Nova Scotia RCMP’s intensive approach to the missing persons investigation into the disappearance of Lily and Jack Sullivan continues.
More than 11 Nova Scotia RCMP units are working on the investigation. Some of these include:
The Northeast Nova Scotia RCMP Major Crime Unit
Pictou County District RCMP
Digital Forensic Services
Truth Verification Section
Legal Application Support Team
Police Dog Services
Underwater Recovery Team
Behavioral Sciences Group
Criminal Analysis Service
They are also joined in their efforts by:
The National Centre for Missing Persons
The Canadian Centre for Child Protection
Provincial and municipal police agencies from Nova Scotia and other parts of Canada.
The investigation is being led by a tenacious, committed group of investigators who are gathering and assessing information daily to learn more about the circumstances of Lily and Jack’s disappearance, so we can find them,” said Sergeant Rob McCam, Acting Officer in Charge of Major Crime and Behavioral Sciences.
“All scenarios are being considered, and we’ve engaged every tool and resource at our disposal.”
The Nova Scotia RCMP would like to thank the public for all the tips, information, and video footage provided since Lily and Jack went missing.
With this support, investigators have collected hundreds of hours of video from the areas surrounding Lanstown Station, including footage taken from along Gairloch Road between 12:00 p.m. on April 28 and 12:00 p.m. on May 2 — which was the subject of a public appeal from the investigative team on May 28.
Investigators have formally interviewed 54 people, including the administration of polygraph tests to some individuals.
They’ve received 488 tips, many of which have been assessed and followed up on.
They’ve extensively searched the property from which the children went missing — including every aspect of the home and the grounds.
They’ve also been granted numerous judicial authorizations to seize and examine materials and devices that may provide useful information.
“We are accessing, evaluating, and analyzing a significant volume of information from a variety of sources.
We have a very coordinated and deliberate approach to ensure all information is meticulously scrutinized, prioritized, and actioned — to make sure nothing is missed.
We are committed to doing what is necessary to locate Lily and Jack and to advance the investigation, which may take longer than we all hoped.”
The information gathered so far — including from the ground search and rescue efforts — has not identified any new search areas. That means everywhere they’ve looked so far has turned up no new clues, which unfortunately means they don’t currently have any new leads on where to search next.
So, still — no information, no leads, nothing on what happened to Lily and Jack Sullivan. Police said a while ago that they don’t believe the kids were abducted, but nobody has found any evidence of them being out in the woods either.
It’s just such a horrific situation for everybody involved, but especially for Lily and Jack — wherever they are, and whatever happened. Lily is six. Jack is four.
I mean, I can’t even begin to imagine how scared they must be — or must have been, depending on where they are, and what happened. I honestly can’t even find the right words to describe how terrible this is, and how terrifying it must be for those kids.
Just absolutely heartbreaking.
I hope, at the end of the day, that they’re found safe and sound — and brought home to their family, friends, and loved ones.
