It appears that Block stars Emma and Ben may have sparked an unexpected feud between host Scott Cam and Karl Stefanovic.
This week, the fan-favourite season 21 couple revealed they were expecting their first child.
They later appeared on Channel Nine’s Today show on Thursday to discuss the big news with co-hosts Karl and Sarah Abo.
After the Today stars offered their hearty congratulations, Karl jokingly tried to guess the name of Emma and Ben’s baby boy.
‘How’s little Karlos?’ Karl asked, which elicited laughter from the soon-to-be parents.
Ben then suggested that Karl might come up against some strong opposition from the Block’s long-serving host.

‘You’re going to be fighting Scotty for that name, Karl,’ Ben said, which did not seem to deter Karl.
‘Scotty can go jump, mate,’ he replied.
Elsewhere in the chat, the couple, who are set to welcome baby number one next month, said it was difficult keeping the secret from cast and crew.
‘It was tricky, at first,’ Ben said. ‘There were a few occasions where I’d have to finish off Em’s drink, which she had been secretly pretending to have – I took one for the team there.’
Emma and Ben made the big announcement on Wednesday’s episode of The Block as well as on Instagram.
One snap showed the happy couple with giant grins on their faces as they held up a baby scan.
‘Our biggest reveal yet…Surprise! We’re having a baby,’ they captioned the post.
The second slide showed a clip of the moment the soon-to-be parents announced their pregnancy on The Block, while also revealing the gender of their first baby.

‘We just found out we’re gonna have a boy,’ Ben revealed, adding that he and Emma were over the moon.
Ben then began to tear up as he spoke about the family’s exciting future.
‘You can sort of start to, I don’t know, imagine our life together. Feels good,’ he said.
‘Does it make you feel emotional?’ one of the producers could be heard asking off-camera.
‘Yeah, really emotional,’ he said, before wiping away his tears as Emma leaned in for a hug.

Friends, family and former contestants of the Channel Nine series flooded the comments section with well-wishes for the pair.

Emma and Ben made headlines after sources claimed they had already been picked by Nine to be the 2025 victors on Auction Day.
According to an insider, who wishes to remain anonymous, it’s become ‘obvious’ Nine are giving the high school sweethearts priority treatment to win season 21.
Nine has said these claims are ‘false’.
‘All Block auctions are conducted by licensed real estate agents who are required to comply with all relevant laws and are conducted under the public auction rules, while in the presence of Consumer Affairs,’ a spokesperson told Daily Mail.
