Han and Can from House 2 on The Block have had quite a rough ride the last few weeks. Not only was Han caught lying to Foreman Dan about waterproofing, but the pair also failed to complete their bathroom in week one. Then, in week two, fans slammed the girls when Han couldn’t make a decision about floor plans without her dad’s help.

This week, there was another bathroom to work on, but, unfortunately, Han was hit with severe stomach pains that only worsened over time. She told the cameras, “I was up all night vomiting… it felt like someone was cutting me up the guts with a knife.”

“The pain was too much for me to think it was a normal bug.”

Can rushed her to the hospital, thinking she may have appendicitis, and after multiple tests, it was discovered that she has “acute stomach inflammation,” which was likely caused by a severe infection.

“I was in a lot of pain, feeling really sick, and just in and out of consciousness from the painkillers. I was dribbling on myself! It was bad,” Han said of her time in hospital.

Unfortunately, when she got back to the construction site, she was forced to spend the rest of the week in bed, leaving Can to tackle the bathroom on her own.

Host Scott Cam also brought in some help for Can so she wouldn’t be working solo for the week, bringing in former contestant Tom to help her out.

The plumber is the perfect person to help the girls during this bathroom week, though some fans slammed the show for giving the girls “special treatment” by bringing in an ex-contestant.

However, seasoned Block viewers hit back at the claims, and one person wrote, “It’s not uncommon for teams to get additional help like this when circumstances warrant it – like now with Han in hospital.”

“They often bring in an ex-contestant to help when someone is out of action,” another said. “I don’t have a problem with Tom helping them.”

A third wrote, “Hmm…hard one. Yes, it’s good that she gets some help while Han is sick, but is it like for like when he is a fully qualified plumber and it’s bathroom week?”

“I don’t think Can could do it on her own so it was great to see her have a helping hand,” someone else added.
