We already have an update regarding Montreal Canadiens forward Ivan Demidov.
It was previously unclear when Demidov would finally hop on a plane to arrive in Montreal.. Well, the wait didn’t last long!
Bob Hartley, who still has strong connections in the KHL and just took part in an interview with Roman Rotenberg on BPM Sports, made the following announcement.
“Bob Hartley on RDS just said that Ivan Demidov is currently on a flight to Montreal.”

What fantastic news, once again!
It’s incredible how fast everything has progressed in this situation.
Around noon, there were whispers on social media.
By 2 PM, we learned that SKA had agreed to release Demidov from his contract.
By 3 PM, the Canadiens announced the signing of the young Demidov.
And just moments later, we found out Demidov is on a plane heading to Montreal.
What a great day for the Montreal Canadiens! Wow!
