Is MKR coming back in 2025?

Yes! A new season of the popular reality show will premiere on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Tune in at 7.30pm on Channel 7 or 7plus.

The contestants this year are:

Do MKR contestants use their own homes?

Yes! My Kitchen Rules contestants generally use their own homes for the “Instant Restaurant” rounds – where they host and cook a three course meal for the judges and competing teams.

However, there are a few exceptions.

If a contestant doesn’t actually live in an appropriate home – aka their residence is too small to accommodate production – then alternatives are arranged.

Production may rent a house, or contestants might use a friend’s or family member’s home instead.

What do My Kitchen Rules winners get? 

The team that ultimately wins in 2025 will take home a $100,000 cash prize.
