They might not have been paired up initially, but former MAFS stars Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice are one of the strongest couples to have come out of the reality show this year. Aside from Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, Jacqui and Clint are the only other surviving couple from this year’s season.
The pair first put their romance on display during the reunion dinner party, when they showed up very loved-up together. This was despite the fact that they only got together two weeks earlier, which was just two weeks after Jacqui ended things with ‘husband’ Ryan Donnelly at the Final Vows.
Things moved very fast between Jacqui and Clint, who revealed that the MAFS bride would be moving from Sydney to Launceston to be with him.
After the reunion aired on TV, Clint proposed to Jacqui at a viewing party, surprising everyone.
MAFS’ Jacqui responds to ‘betrayal’ rumours

While they have since lived happily ever after, the pair have recently been plagued by breakup rumours hinting at some kind of “betrayal” behind the scenes.
However, Jacqui has denied the reports, telling Yahoo Lifestyle that people “shouldn’t believe what [they] read or see on the Internet, or from non-reputable news sources”.
The reality star shared a photo of one of the reports, which included fake quotes from Jacqui that read: “I trusted you completely… and you broke me.”
“I’m not surprised to see fake news — it happens all the time,” Jacqui told Yahoo Lifestyle.
She said they hadn’t read the story or the comments on the post because it “looked like a dodgy link” and she thought it might be a “dangerous” phishing scam.

“They are ridiculous, but the concern for us would be when we have kids, they might be at school around their friends, and their friends might start spreading fake news based on what their parents have told them about us.
“That would be something we would be very protective about and take it very seriously.”
She added that she and Clint are very much still “loved up” and enjoying a holiday on the Gold Coast.
The pair are currently planning their wedding and told us that it’s going “great”.
“We’re very excited to host an intimate, fun and vibrant few days for our closest loved ones,” she said.
“And our dogs hopefully.”
