One of the biggest red flags in the case of missing siblings Jack and Lily is that not many people close to the children have been speaking out or advocating for them.

It wasn’t only Malaya and Daniel on the property that morning. Daniel’s mother, Janie, lived in the trailer at the back, too. She had a dog that apparently barked at everything.

It’s being said that Malaya didn’t even know Janie was home that morning. And when police arrived, Janie didn’t want them to search her camper. She said she didn’t want anyone around her dog. Then there was a mention of a cupboard. What was in the cupboard remains a mystery. Police said she was impeding the investigation and warned her they would get a search warrant.

But her two step-grandchildren had just gone missing.
What could possibly prevent her from allowing the police to search?

Janie was crying and appeared very upset. The policewoman told her, “No one is blaming you. We just need to search the trailer to rule out that the kids are not in there.”

Anyway—Derwood, who is confirmed to be a relative of Malaya and reportedly got information directly from Janie herself, has been revealing what Janie heard that morning.

Janie said she heard the kids. She heard Lily doing her “screaming thing,” which we also saw in the birthday video. She heard Jack saying something. Then, she heard someone shushing them—”Shh. Shh.” That’s when her dog started barking. So she got up to check.

She said she knew the kids were supposed to be there—she had just heard them.
When she stepped outside, she saw Malaya standing there with Meadow in her arms, looking at her phone.

Janie looked at Malaya and asked, “Where are the kids?”
Because she knew the kids were there. She had just heard them.

Malaya looked stunned.
Then she said, “They’re in the woods.”

There are so many red flags in this case—and police have been really quiet lately. It’s rumored that Derwood is talking to them, and that investigators are getting more information through him.
