LUCY’S SECRETS REVEALED!! | DID DTR USE US FOR ATTENTION?? | BLOOD OR TRAIL MARKINGS?
we’ll be looking at Lucy’s interview and how she tried to tell Brandon’s story — as well as Brad’s. Also, a comment from Down the Rapids could show that he made an outrageous claim just to get attention on TikTok.
So, the first thing we’re going to look at is a video clip from Down the Rapids — because he made a claim saying he found blood. But a comment he made months later actually proves himself wrong.
“So, I’ve just found some dry blood here, guys. I found some dry blood. It’s 100% blood. None of the other rocks have it. It’s from nothing else. And… but you can see it here. You can see it here.
Now, there are sheep and stuff that come up here. You can see, um, animal droppings as well. So it’s probably from an animal. However, there are stories that, um, Jay potentially cut his leg on a cactus.
Now, um… I don’t… Jay could have potentially come this way. I personally doubt it. I don’t know. We don’t know. Um… so I’m still going to have a look. I’m going to have a look at the area, because that — ’cause that’s definitely blood. That’s 100% blood. Probably from an animal, guys. But um… we’re searching everything. We’re not leaving anything.”
As you can see, Down the Rapids says that he 100% found blood. And this is a very serious statement to make. He’s looking for a missing person and claims to have found blood — something he knows will be considered important. Which also means he knew it was going to get attention.
So, when he says it’s 100% blood, and then months later says it was probably just trail markings for hikers, it really makes you wonder why he said that in the first place. Did he even report it? Because what stands out is that he made a confident claim, knowing none of us were there to verify it — and then he changed his mind later on.
To me, it just looks like he said that for the clip, which obviously made people think a certain way. And you just don’t do that in a case where hundreds of thousands of people are watching you.
Then you have him saying there was no way Jay could have gotten there. But he was there himself — so how can he say that? Sure, he said Jay shouldn’t have done it without ropes. But what’s stopping Jay from doing the exact same thing?
So basically, what Down the Rapids has said is:
This video of him finding blood was probably not even blood, and had nothing to do with Jay.
But at the time, he told us something very different.
Let me know what you guys think about this.
Did Paul just say that for attention? Was it even blood? And how can we trust someone that does this?
The next thing we’re going to look at is Lucy’s interview.
Because after watching it again — secrets are revealed.
“I had, um… I’d gone home from the NRG festival a little bit earlier than everybody else, um, because I was tired.
So, I’d gone home alone back to my apartment.
And then I woke up to, um… a phone call at like half eight in the morning — around half eight — um, from Jay.
Saying that he’d gone up to the mountains.
That his phone was on 1%, so it was about to die.
He didn’t know where he was.
He needed a drink.
That he’d cut all his leg on, like, a cactus.
And that he had no idea where we were.
So I said to him, like, “If you’re ever going to listen to anything I’m going to say, you need to listen now. You need to go back to wherever you’ve just come from before your phone dies, and I’ll come and pick you up from there.”
He said to me, “I can’t go back there. I don’t know where it is.”
So I just said, “Send me a location.”
So he sent over a screenshot of his last location.”
So, this is what Lucy said: “I woke up to a phone call at around 8:30 from Jay.”
But — we know for a fact — that Brandon phoned Lucy, and she woke up to a call from Brandon, not Jay.
This is one of the first things we heard. So how misleading is that?
Remember when Lucy says Jay told her he went up to the mountains and his phone didn’t have any battery? That’s what Brandon had told her when they spoke.
So… she’s telling Brandon’s story and pretending it’s hers.
But when does it change to her phone call?
At what point does Lucy actually speak to Jay?
Let’s not forget — this is very important information.
And Lucy is telling a story and saying she spoke to Jay — when she didn’t.
And this stopped us from hearing Brandon’s version.
Plus, this means we now know Lucy tried to tell a story to help someone stay out of it — and that someone could be the person most involved, who spoke to Jay the most before he went missing.
Also… the location.
Is this the location that Jay sent to Brandon or to Lucy?
Because apparently, he sent his location to Brandon as well.
So where is that screenshot?
“The first thing I did when the phone had cut off was I rang the police.
So I rang 911 and spoke to the people there.
They told me they’d sent a helicopter out.
But later on, I’d spoken to somebody who lived up in the mountains, and they said they hadn’t heard any helicopters — which obviously, if there was a helicopter, they definitely would have heard it.
So I think they just totally fobbed me off. I don’t even think they did.
So after like half an hour of no updates, I rang back and said, “Has the helicopter had any sightings of him? Has anybody seen him? I’m really, really worried.”
They said, no, they’ve not seen anything, but they were out looking.
So I thought, “Right. I’m not getting anywhere with this phone call.”
Every time I’d ring the police, they just kept ending the phone on me. They were just so unbothered by the whole situation.
So I thought, “Right, I need to get a taxi as soon as possible down to the police station and speak to them in person.”
So I got a taxi to the closest police station. I was literally there within the hour of the phone call.
I went in and said, “I really need to report somebody missing.”
But I said, “It’s not like they’re just missing around here.””
So now let’s talk about why Brandon’s story was told for him.
Here’s what we know:
Lucy and Brad both decided to leave Brandon out.
And whose decision was that?
I’m guessing Brandon’s — because he also told Aub that he didn’t want to be talked about.
So his friends literally lied to keep him out of the conversation.
But it didn’t work.
Because once he was pictured with Jay, he was already involved in the case.
We just didn’t know how big of a role he played until later on.
So — Jay goes missing.
Brandon doesn’t get mentioned by his friends.
Not only that, but he changes his name on Facebook to Royston Cropper — which is a fictional character — and just stays quiet.
But he keeps watching what everyone’s saying.
He doesn’t deactivate his account, which would be the obvious thing to do if you didn’t want to be messaged or have thousands of notifications.
Instead, he just changes his name and stays in all the Facebook groups — watching.
That just doesn’t sound right to me.
Then we move into the messages.
Brandon tells Jay to “get two ton out,” tells him he’s “off his head.”
Then, in a new message, Brandon has a go at Jay.
From looking at all that information, I think you could say Brandon either:
Doesn’t like to be talked about — but kind of likes the attention
