BOOT PRINTS TO THROW OFF SEARCHES?? | LILLY AND JACK SULLIVAN
These searches that are happening on the weekends are interesting, to say the least. Are they based on clues, or just going back to previously searched areas to make sure nothing was missed the first time?
A couple of days ago, police released an update saying that they confirmed the children were last seen with family on May 1st, the day before they were reported missing. It’s been said that Jack, Lily, Mallaya, Daniel, and baby Meadow were seen in public in New Glasgow, which is about 18 minutes away from the children’s home. It seems they were seen on footage.
However, the confusing part of that update is that they wanted footage all the way back from April 28th, days before the children were reported missing. I’m wondering if that is to check for any suspicious vehicles coming into the area. The updates from the RCMP are very vague, so it’s almost like we have to read between the lines.
Anyway, this past weekend, another search was conducted, and the update from that search has now come in. More than 75 trained searchers from ground search and rescue organizations — including Colchester County, Pictou County, East Hants, Halifax, Strait Area, Springhill, and Pugwash — were engaged today in an effort to advance the ongoing investigation and locate Lily and Jack.
Searchers focused on specific areas around Gerich Road and the nearby pipeline where a bootprint was previously located. It seems that nothing of relevance was found, because the update said any future searches will be determined based on the course of the investigation.
I don’t understand what they mean by a bootprint. As in one bootprint — there were two children. What are the odds that one bootprint is linked to them? Unless someone deliberately took a boot and made one print there to throw off the investigators.
