Nine declines to comment after grandparents say an incident involving a two year old behind the wheel was not to be shown.

Nine has declined to comment after The Block aired an incident which involved a two year old behind the wheel of a car on private property.

On Monday night Scott Cam and contestants Robby & Mat took a spot of trout fishing at Tuki Trout Farm in Smeaton, following a Room Reveal win.

But the leisurely pastime was disrupted when the 2 year old grandson of Trout Farm owner Robert began honking the horn of a nearby vehicle.

“He loves bipping the horn,” Robert explained.

But as Mat described, “Before we know (it), we hear this car start, go through a bush and then crash into a tree in an embankment, a couple of metres behind us.”

All accompanied to the sounds of The Flight of the Bumblebee on screen…..

“Robert has walked up to the car, opened the door, turned the key off, pulled out a two-year-old by his hand, and we’re standing there going like, ‘Uh, how is no one talking about this or panicked?’” Mat said.

“We are standing there going like, how was no one talking about this, or panicked?”

While the incident took place on private property, co-owner Jan told Yahoo she was “disappointed” producers aired the scene after promising it wouldn’t be shown on TV.

“It was a little, minor accident, and we did ask them not to show that. They promised not to,” she says. “The child, obviously, is completely unharmed and much loved, so we’re really disappointed that it was shown.”

Nine declined to comment.
