Bindi Irwin has shared a big life update with her fans, revealing that she, her husband Chandler Powell and their daughter Grace have moved to Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old explained there’s a very important reason behind the big move in a video posted online.

“I wanted to share a life update with you,” she started.

“We have officially moved to Los Angeles – not forever [but] for the next three months.

“Australia Zoo will always be home, but we are here to support my incredible brother on Dancing With the Stars.”

Robert Irwin is set to shimmy on stage as he takes on Season 34 of DWTS, which is set to air later this month in the US.

The 21-year-old wildlife warrior is following his sister’s footsteps into the ballroom.

“Oh my goodness, it was about 10 years that I competed on Dancing With the Stars in America – and I won with my amazing partner, Derek [Hough],” Bindi added, referring to her 2015 victory.

“It was a life-changing experience that I will always be grateful for, and now, my little brother’s gonna be on the show.”

Ever the proud sister, she can’t wait to cheer him on.

“I can’t wait to support him and cheer him on every week in the audience, and maybe lend some advice here and there. He is going to shine, though, and I know in my heart that he’s gonna make it far because he’s such a fantastic human being,” she finished.

In the caption Bindi added that they can’t wait to see what he can do, but revealed that it’s her daughter Grace who’s the most excited.

“Now, I get to cheer on my (not so little) brother @robertirwinphotography! If you’re wondering who will be cheering the loudest in the audience – it will definitely be me and Grace. She has already chosen all her dresses to wear in the ballroom audience each week,” she wrote.

“We’re super proud of you, Robert.”

The US is close to the hearts of the Irwin family, who were there earlier this year for the annual Steve Irwin Gala.

Bindi actually missed the Gala in May, instead she was raced into emergency surgery for her appendix.

“She’s going to be OK, but surgery – out of all the things we were ready for, that was not one of them,” Robert told People

He explained that his mum Terri would also be missing the gala night, which honours Steve, to help Bindi with her recovery.

It’ll be an exciting time for the family over the next few months with Bindi’s health on the mend and Robert hitting the stage for DWTS.
