Jackie ‘O’ Henderson surprised listeners on Monday when she announced one of their top producers Jaimee ‘Mayo’ Hassos is pregnant live on-air.

The 50-year-old radio star revealed they were about to go to air when Mayo shared the exciting news.

‘Just before we went on air there, Mayo was in here and we were going through a couple of things,’ Jackie explained.

‘And she said, “Oh by the way, guys, there is just one more thing I’ve got to tell you”.’

Kyle Sandilands then asked Mayo to share the news with listeners, and she revealed she was expecting her second child.

‘What a bombshell to drop just as we are about to go on air!’ Jackie said.

‘We are happy, but we are not happy because we are going to lose you again.’

Mayo took time off after welcoming her first child in December 2023.

‘Introducing you to our baby boy Hudson Ricky Blazquez. Born December 5th at 10pm weighing 2.5kgs. Our hearts are so full,’ the lovestruck mother wrote.

Mayo’s KIIS FM co-star Jackie O led the tributes, writing ‘Huddy’ alongside a string of heart emojis.

‘Oh my goodness. He’s beautiful. Congratulations darling girl,’ gushed Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis.

‘Ahhh he’s so sweet congrats guys,’ added fellow reality star Brittany Hockley.

The Amazing Race Australia host Beau Ryan joined the chorus with: ‘So happy for you guys’.

Hudson is Mayo’s first child with her husband Sebastian, whom she married in 2019.

They tied the knot in the NSW Hunter Region after deciding to splash out on a lavish ceremony instead of buying a house.

Just days before saying ‘I do’, Kyle and Jackie O tricked Mayo into thinking her wedding venue had been double-booked.

With the help of a KIIS FM sales executive pretending to be someone from the venue, the team convinced her she would have to ‘share’ the marquee with a Lebanese wedding party.

The bride-to-be’s reaction to the devastating phone call was captured via a hidden camera in the KIIS FM office, adjacent to Kyle & Jackie O’s studio.
