Lily and Jack have now been missing for more than two months, and it’s heartbreaking to imagine that they’re still out there somewhere — alone, or perhaps hidden.

The latest theory circulating is that they are alive and being well cared for on a reservation, in a situation allegedly orchestrated by their mother, Mallaya. However, that remains just a theory — one with no public evidence to support it.

RCMP updates have become increasingly scarce, but investigators insist they are working behind the scenes to solve this case. Still, for many in the community and across the country following this story, the silence is deafening.

One of the most intriguing and controversial elements now being questioned is the bootprint found on Lansston Road. Was it real — or was it staged?

Let’s start with the basics. Only one bootprint was reportedly found. It was said to be child-sized. But why only one? If a child walked or ran through the area, wouldn’t there be more? This has led some online sleuths to suggest the possibility that multiple prints were deliberately covered up, and someone may have missed this one — or, perhaps, it was placed there on purpose.

But it gets even stranger.

Near that bootprint, something else was discovered — something that has only deepened suspicions.

On the very first day of the search, emergency responders — speaking over a non-encrypted radio frequency — mentioned a K-9 unit being dispatched to a blanket. That blanket was allegedly brought to their attention by family members, who claimed it belonged to Lily.

Mallaya herself reportedly identified it as Lily’s blanket. And Daniel Martell, the children’s stepfather, confirmed the same. He even stated there is additional evidence connected to that site — though he said he couldn’t elaborate.

Daniel said the blanket was located near Lansston Road, close to where the bootprint was found — in the area of a pipeline trail, just over a kilometer from the children’s home.

Here’s where it gets even more disturbing.

The RCMP has refused to comment on the blanket. No statements, no confirmations, no clarifications. That silence has only fueled speculation that the blanket is now part of key evidence in the case.

But then came another twist — one that has left many absolutely stunned.

In a recent appearance on ItsCrimeingShes’ YouTube channel, Daniel Martell made a new revelation: the RCMP retrieved the blanket from the garbage.

Let that sink in.

Daniel claims he made the call — that he found the blanket in the trash and contacted authorities to come collect it.

It’s a shocking detail. Why would Lily’s blanket be in the garbage? Who put it there? Was only a piece of the blanket found on Lansston Road, with the rest discarded?

So many questions — and so few answers.

If Daniel’s account is accurate, then the blanket wasn’t simply found during a ground search. It was disposed of. And retrieved. That raises huge implications about potential tampering, staging, or worse — a failed attempt to dispose of key evidence.
