The salaries of The Block stars have been revealed, and there is a striking gap between the highest and lowest earners among the cast.
Series host Scott Cam, 62, is the highest-paid cast member on the show by a significant margin, taking home a jaw-dropping $2.4million a year, according to realestate.com.au.
Co-host Shelley Craft, 49, is the second-highest-paid individual – and yet significantly trails Cam, earning between $500,000 and $750,000 per series.
The series Foreman’s are also well compensated, with former star Keith Schleiger, who stepped back from the show last year, earning $250,000 to $300,000.
His successor, Dan Reilly, takes home between $150,000 to $200,000 per annum.
However, the judging panel are on even less, with series veterans Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer reportedly earning $60,000 to $100,000 per season.

Meanwhile, newcomer Marty Fox is said to be taking home about $3,000 per episode, and with last year’s Phillip Island-filmed series having 52 episodes, he would have earned around $150,000 for his time on the show.
The lowest-paid stars are the contestants themselves, with individuals taking home $100 per day for their 12-week run on the show, meaning the teams of two earn about $16,800 for their time on the series.
However, the money contestants are paid is not a ‘salary’, as they are not Channel Nine employees, but rather a stipend to ensure their basic living expenses are covered while appearing on the program.
It follows reports that series host Scott Cam is one of the highest-paid presenters in Australia, with his $2.4million salary placing him ahead of almost all his competitors.
Last month, a source told Woman’s Day that Nine was keen to keep Cam and his co-star, Shelley Craft, on the home renovation series for as long as they could.
‘As long as audiences keep watching, Scotty and Shelley are the heart of the show,’ they said.
‘It’s ultimately up to the network, but if Scott wants to stay, they will find a way to keep him.’
The insider added that Cam’s good-natured attitude made him a delight to work with.

‘He still feels lucky to be doing it year after year and to be part of a show audiences still love. There’s a real sense of gratitude,’ they said.
Cam has co-hosted The Block since 2010.
Season 21 of the long-running reality TV series recently premiered, and the Daylesford-filmed season looks to be one of the most gripping yet.
The presenter’s jaw-dropping salary makes him the second-highest-paid presenter in Australia, trailing Today show co-host Karl Stefanovic.
In May, The Australian’s inaugural TV Rich List report claimed that Nine star Stefanovic, 51, was being paid an eye-watering $2million more than his Today show co-host Sarah Abo.
The report collated the 35 highest salaries among TV stars on Australia’s three commercial networks – Channel Seven, Nine and Network 10.
