The sheep farmer opens up about being a dad and his new life with Georgie.

Farmer Tom Molineaux might have professed his love for Georgie Lavery on Farmer Wants A Wife, but the 31-year-old sheep farmer from Borambola also has another love in his life – a son.

Tom and Georgie have been settling into their new life together at his farm, where he’s revealed that his young son, Bolton, happens to be their neighbour!

Speaking for the first time about his secret son from a past relationship, Farmer Tom tells Woman’s Day, “I have a young son and he actually lives right next door now.”

During his time on Farmer Wants A Wife, Tom didn’t openly talk about being a father but he did reveal the fact in the casting notes for the reality show.

Although seven-year-old Bolton lives so close to Tom’s New South Wales farm, sadly they don’t get to spend time together.

“I don’t actually get to see him, not at all,” he tells Woman’s Day. “I’ve asked and [my ex] doesn’t really want to go down that path.”

In the show’s casting notes, Tom admitted that he was keen to expand his brood – so he was looking for someone also interested in having children.

While Georgie, 28, hasn’t yet met Bolton or seen Tom in dad mode, she’s looking forward to starting their own family when the time is right.

Georgie – who still works as a nurse at nearby Wagga Wagga hospital – has been learning the ways of the land since moving into Tom’s farm earlier this year, and the pair have been steadily building a future together.

“I would like kids in the future, but yeah, get married first and then have kids, I think!” she says.

Tom’s long-term plan in life also includes a few kids running around the rural property!

“I’d like to be married with some more kids, enjoying our lives together as a family on the farm, perhaps with all of us farming together,” he wrote ahead of his time on FWAW.

Georgie is clearly keen to step into a parenting role of some kind – on her application she shared how she was enjoying being a mum to a furry baby – her puppy, Trevor.

“You could say I’m a single mum: Trevor just graduated puppy school!” she wrote on her application.

But for now, the happy couple are focused on sharing their love for each other.

“Through this whole experience, I’ve really enjoyed every moment I’ve been with you,” Tom told Georgie when he professed his love. “I’m excited to take the next step in this and I’ve fallen really hard and fast for you… I’m totally in love with you.”
