The Block’s Paige Beechey and Jesse Maguire are expecting their first child.

The pair, who made headlines last year after leaving the show during filming, announced the happy news in a shared Instagram post on Monday.

They included a photo of themselves sharing a celebratory kiss while posing with their dog Barkley in a park at dusk.

‘Family of 4 loading,’ the Western Australian couple wrote and added a series of emojis, including a baby bottle and a golden love heart.

They also included a touching video in which Paige can be seen surprising Jesse with her fantastic news.

‘Say ”Paige is pregnant!”‘ she said while a photographer took snaps of the pair and their dog.

Seconds later, he could be seen wiping away tears.

‘Life has felt blissful in our little bubble, and now, with a baby on the way, we’re thrilled to share that our happiness is growing along with our family,’ they told Yahoo Lifestyle on Tuesday.

Friends and followers were quick to flood their post with messages of congratulations.

‘I can’t wait! I love you both so much!’ gushed one follower, while another added, ‘I am screaming! Congrats my loves.’

It comes after the pair secretly wed in Paris, France last November.

The happy couple announced they had tied the knot on Instagram and included a beautiful wedding photo with the caption ‘husband and wife’ and tagged the lavish Ritz Hotel in the French capital.

The Perth couple previously called off their wedding in December following speculation their engagement was in trouble.
