“She’s just an extraordinary human being.”

Osher Günsberg isn’t shy about singing his wife’s praises. From their first meeting to the birth of their daughter, Osher has been vocal about his admiration for his “extraordinary” partner, Audrey Griffen.

A reality TV staple—the host of both The Bachelor and The Masked Singer—Osher is one of the most recognisable figures on Australian screens. However, his relationship with make-up artist Audrey blossomed behind the scenes.

From meeting on the set of The Bachelor, to sharing two children and supporting each other through life’s ups and downs, read about the relationship Osher Günsberg says saved his life.

Who is Osher Günsberg married to? 

Osher is married to make-up artist Audrey Griffen. The two met on the set of The Bachelor Australia in 2014, when Osher was hosting the hit reality show. He’d split from his first wife, Noa Tishby, in 2011.

“I had been chatting to a makeup artist I’d worked with for years about my love life, and I was complaining about how hard it was to meet someone,” he told The Sydney Morning Herald in 2018. “I remember saying I can’t go to bars because I don’t drink, and the last time I was single there were Nokia phones, and what is this Tinder thing?

“She told me she was going off to another job, but had a replacement to do my make-up, and said, ‘She is lovely, she has a kid, and you’re welcome’.”

The replacement make-up artist was Audrey.

Reflecting on their relationship, Osher gushed that he fell in love with Audrey almost instantly. “The day she started I turned up on the show and there was this beautiful vision of light,” he admitted.

Despite Osher’s immediate infatuation, Audrey had a different first impression of the beloved TV host.

“When I first met him at work he seemed rather aloof, but then we started chatting and we had these amazing conversations. There’s a lot of bravado that’s required in front of the camera, but he was quite shy and timid – a very self-deprecating and endearing side,” she said.

Even on their first date, Audrey didn’t realise Osher’s interest. On the 10th anniversary of their first date, Osher wrote on Instagram:

Ten years today I met [Audrey] outside the comedy store in Sydney so we could watch [Luke Heggie’s] set.” he began. “Only then did she realise that it was a date. She had no idea that we would fall in love, she would save my life and we would have the most wonderful family together. You’re a stone cold stunner honey, with a kind heart that’s a beacon seen from space.”

After two years of dating, Osher and Audrey tied the knot in 2016 in a small, intimate ceremony.

How many kids does Osher Günsberg have?

Osher Günsberg and his wife have two children: Georgia and Wolfgang.

Georgia Griffen is Audrey’s daughter from a previous relationship, and his believed to be around 21 years old in 2025. Speaking to the Australian Women’s Weekly, Osher shared how he adapted to the role of stepfather. “It was very early on that she went from being my girlfriend’s kid to the next day being someone that, if she was standing in the road and a bus was coming, I would push her out of the way even if it meant I would die,” he said.

Osher and Audrey grew their family in 2019 when they welcomed the birth of their son, Wolfgang.

Taking to Instagram to announce Wolfgang’s birth, Osher lavished adoration on his wife. “I’ve known Audrey for over five years, and yet had no idea that within her this whole time was an almighty divine force capable of bringing life into the world like this blows my mind and was astonishing to witness,” he said.

“What I witnessed her do, the power I saw her summon from within her to bring this boy into the world was utterly astonishing. I can’t think of any single thing a man does in his life that physically equates to what I saw Audrey do.”

Since then, Osher has commented on Wolfgang inheriting his appearance from his wife. “Audrey’s got some powerful genetics on her side … Between the Chinese and the Fijian heritage, I don’t think I got much of a look-in,” he told TV Week in 2013.  “I guess the only thing that would be like me would be when he crawls across the floor he always has both hands full. I’m that kind of guy. I tend to be very busy.”

In the same interview, Osher added that he was in “awe” of his wife. “She’s just an extraordinary human being,” he shared. “I mean, she raised Georgia as a single mum. It’s a bit tough that she’s gone back into that mode, but now with two kids.”

How Osher Günsberg’s wife helped with his health

Osher has been open about his struggles with obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, anxiety, osteoarthritis and other health obstacles over the years, which he discussed in his 2018 memoir, Back, After The Break.

Reflecting on the impact of family and his relationship with Audrey, Osher shared just how much his supportive wife helped him through a dark time with his mental health.

“I was considering 10, 20 times a day, not being here anymore,” he admitted to TV Week.  “I was dealing with these horrible thoughts, it’s so traumatic and distressing and awful. Eventually, you just get tired of fighting it.” After spending time with Audrey and his future stepdaughter Georgia, Osher felt a shift, and credits Audrey with saving his life.

“I started having the most wonderful time with these two people, and thought, ‘These two are worth sticking around for; these two are worth getting better for’. From that point, I worked so hard, and I still work hard every single day, to try to get better. So, yeah, Audrey saved my life.”

In 2024, Osher spoke with us about his experience with chronic pain, and how his family helped him manage.

“Audrey is incredibly compassionate and she was able to go, ‘You are not this pain, this pain is something else,’” he explains. “Being able to separate the pain from the person was enormously powerful. I wish everybody had someone like that but you can be that for yourself, too.”

Taking to screens as a contestant on the 2025 season of Dancing With The Stars, we’re happy to see Osher taking the pain and recovery in his stride!

“Today my magnificent stepdaughter Georgia arranged a truly fabulous Baby Shower / Reveal event at the Bronte SLSC down the road,” Osher wrote on Instagram. “[Audrey] and her family have spent the last three days cooking, baking and basting and frying all the food – there was a FEAST!

“G then proceeded to run a most high-tension game-show style reveal moment, of such drawn-out drama that the Network Execs in the room were probably considering a new 6pm pre-prime show,” he continued, before revealing he and Audrey were expecting a baby boy.
