That would have been epic!
Myles Kuah‘s Australian Survivor 2025 win was one of the most satisfying in the show’s history; against all odds, the scheming, fan-favourite underdog managed to triumph. Unfortunately for Myles, the upcoming Survivor: Australia v The World season was filmed directly after his Brains v Brawn II instalment, meaning he missed the chance to be considered for the all-star edition.
Survivor: Australia v The World had wrapped filming by the time Brain v Brawn II aired, and the first promo was screened during Myles’ season finale.
In a post-win interview, Myles told Chattr that he’d heard about the all-star season, and called production immediately after he’d finished filming and asked if he could take part.
“I was sad. When I got out of the game, I literally texted [production]. I’m like, ‘Hey, I know that I am 58 kilos and start dying of starvation’, but if you, if you want me to just jump back in there, I’ll do it,” he asid.
Of course, if Myles was included in the Survivor: Australia v The World cast, it would have been a pretty solid indicator that he’d gone far in his season.

Who is Myles excited to see on Survivor: Australia v The World?
While Myles was presented as a Survivor superfan during his season, he told Chattr that he actually binged most of the seasons in recent years.
“I’m actually not as big of a fan as a lot of people think I am. I only got into it a couple of years ago, but the way that I enjoy things is I get a very intense level of interest,” he said.
Myles added that he’s looking forward to seeing Sarah Tileke compete, who came 8th on Australian Survivor 2017, which is largely considered the best season by dedicated Survivor superfans.
“I love Sarah Tileke,” he told Chattr. “Survivor 2017 was my first Survivor season I ever watched and the Asaga Four are one of my favourite alliances ever. So, to see Sarah Tileke play again is so cool.”

While Myles listed a few Australian Survivor plays he’s excited to see compete, he told Chattr that he believes the international team will be one to watch.
“I’m super excited for Rob Bentele. I’m a big Survivor South Africa fan. And so to see the South Africa representation is awesome. I’d love to see some of the other South African players play more as well.
“And just seeing David Genat, seeing Shonee [Bowtell], seeing George [Mladenov], seeing bloody Parvati [Shallow] and Tony [Vlachos], and seeing some of these fracked up international players; that world tribe, is absolutely stacked. It’s ridiculous.
“Like Cirie [Fields], I’m pretty sure, is the lowest placing player there, at third place or something. It’s all just like crazy, insane players, so I’m stoked for that.”
So are we, Myles, so are we! Bring on Survivor: Australia v The World already.
Survivor: Australia v The World premieres on August 17 on Channel 10 and 10Play.
