The Block fans have made it very clear that they’d love to see another refresh of the judging panel. And there is one former contestant that they’d love to see on the show more regularly – Dani Wales, who previously competed on the show with husband Dan Reilly, AKA Foreman Dan!
Dan and Dani are known for their weekly judging of the room reveals, which fans love watching. It’s fair to say that the pair, who were contestants on the show in 2012 and 2013, are very much beloved fan favourites.

Those who tune in every week for Dan and Dani’s room reviews have gone so far as to say that the pair’s insights are “better than the judges”, with many also loving “how they often have drastically different opinions”, adding that “it’s refreshing” to see.
“I love Dani’s judgements,” one viewer shared on Reddit. “They need to promote her.”
“Dani would be so much better [at] representing the voice of the ‘normal’ person with style and functionality in what they would like in a house but also up to The Block standards!” another said on Facebook.
“I think Dani would make a great judge,” a third agreed. “I always get a lot from watching the Dan vs Danni walk through. The only problem would be a conflict of interest with Dan I think. With Dan working quite closely with the contestants I think that could be a problem. I would be more than happy to overlook that if nobody else saw it as a problem.”

“I think she has always been able to hold her own opinions from his and never allowed him to sway her,” replied someone else. “So I don’t think that would be an issue to be honest and I honestly don’t think he would anyway as the winner each week wouldn’t have any affect on him.”
“Love seeing Dani,” added another. “She needs a permanent role on the show if she wants/is able to. I admire them both so much and wish them the world and more.”
