As the dust settles on the Laval Rocket’s season, attention quickly shifts to the future—and one name is generating more buzz than ever: Florian Xhekaj. Fresh off the team’s exit interviews, the young forward has become the center of conversation, not just for his performance on the ice, but for the powerful message he delivered to the Montreal Canadiens’ management and the rest of the league. With determination burning in his eyes and an unmistakable confidence in his voice, Florian is making it clear that he has no intention of blending into the background next season.

Standing tall and already boasting an imposing physical presence, Xhekaj’s ambitions for the offseason are as bold as they are direct. His commitment to growing even stronger and making a significant impact at the next training camp has not gone unnoticed. The Canadiens’ decision-makers, as well as rival teams, are sure to be keeping a close eye on his progress over the summer.

With the prospect of seeing both Xhekaj brothers wearing the Canadiens’ jersey in the near future, excitement is mounting among fans and analysts alike. Florian’s journey is quickly becoming one of the most intriguing storylines to watch as the new season approaches.

In the past few hours, it was time for exit interviews with the Laval Rocket following their elimination at the hands of the Charlotte Checkers and Pascal Vincent’s squad.

The interview with Arber Xhekaj’s younger brother, Florian, was particularly interesting.

He sent a few strong messages ahead of next season, and we saw the fire and determination in his eyes.. He wants to make waves next year and is more motivated than ever!

His message is crystal clear.

The Montreal Canadiens’ brass better take note: Florian Xhekaj will be even bigger come September-and he’s ready to shake things up!

That’s exactly what he stated during his press conference.

“My goal this summer is to get even bigger!”

Wow! We’re talking about a player who already stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 204 pounds!

It’s definitely going to get rough at the next training camp.

The Ottawa Senators players better start preparing now-especially given their history with the big brother.

Florian also added this, as reported by RDS:

“I came in pretty confident, I wanted to learn and develop as a player.
I feel like I got exactly what I was hoping for.
Everyone was so welcoming,” said Xhekaj, who wants to bulk up this summer.

We can’t wait to see the Xhekaj brothers in action next fall-especially now that Florian has a real shot at landing a spot on the Montreal Canadiens roster as early as October.
