For many Montreal Canadiens fans, the trade of Carey Price’s contract to the San Jose Sharks seemed like the closing chapter in the legendary goaltender’s career with the Bleu-blanc-rouge. After years of unforgettable saves and emotional moments, it was easy to assume that Price had quietly faded into retirement, leaving behind only memories and highlights. Yet, a recent interview has revealed a very different story, one filled with surprising insights and hints of unfinished business.

Price, now embracing a quieter life focused on family, has opened up about his daily routines, the joys of fatherhood, and the transition away from the spotlight. But as he shares these intimate details, a single question lingers: could Carey Price ever return to the Canadiens organization in some capacity? His answer, though careful, offers hope and raises new questions about the future.

With Price scheduled to attend a special ceremony for his former teammate Andrei Markov, and with speculation swirling about his next chapter, fans are left to wonder what might come next. Is this truly the end of Price’s connection to Montreal, or could a new role be waiting just around the corner? The full story promises revelations that no true fan will want to miss.

By trading Carey Price’s contract to the San Jose Sharks last month, many hockey fans in Quebec might have thought it was the end.

Many could believe that the Montreal Canadiens organization had cut all contact with their former star goaltender.

However, it seems that the man himself won’t soon forget the Bleu-blanc-rouge, and a well-known journalist recently caught up with him.

In a recent article published in La Presse by Richard Labbé, number 31 opened up about his new life in retirement from hockey and how he spends his days.

“My days are like this now.

Every weekday, I drive my kids to school.

Then, I work out a bit before running errands, and afterward, I go back to the school.”

However, the interview gets very interesting when Carey Price is asked about a possible return to the Canadiens organization, and let’s just say it could be a good sign:

“I can envision such a scenario in the future, but for now, I’m devoting all my energy to my family.”

Carey Price Has Clearly Just Opened the Door to a Return Within the Montreal Canadiens Organization

Even if it won’t happen tomorrow, the athlete from British Columbia remains open to the idea of one day working for the team that drafted him fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Draft.

It’s worth noting that Carey Price will be present at the ceremony honoring his former Canadiens teammate, Andrei Markov, at the Bell Centre on December 3.

It’s a safe bet that the Canadiens organization will hold a similar event one day-but this time, to honor the man who proudly defended the team’s net for nearly 15 years.
