The Block Foreman Dan Reilly recalled the most memorable moments with his late daughter Billie while competing on a special charity round of Tipping Point Australia.

Dan sang praises for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staff as he played to raise awareness and a possible $40,000 for The Royal Women’s Hospital NICU in Billie’s memory.

“You never wish anyone to end up there, but if you do, these people are the best people in the world,” Dan said.

Dan and wife Dani Reilly announced the passing of their daughter, Billie Vera Reilly, in December 2024 at 10 days old.

On Tipping Point, Dan told host Todd Woodbridge the work of NICU staff was “so important”.

“They not only look after your little infant baby, they’ll look after you as mum and dad.”

Dan remembered some of his favourite moments with Billie, made possible by staff at the hospital.

“They let us bring our dogs in to meet Billie, and they got Billie from the NICU to outside to be in the sunshine, something I always wanted her to do,” he shared.

“And the most amazing thing was, we wanted to watch a movie as a family together, and they changed our whole room into a movie theater.

“They had Billie’s movie tickets, and we got to sit there as a family. It was such an amazing experience.”

Ahead of the episode, The Royal Women’s Hospital shared a special message of support for Dan.

“Dan’s participation is not just about winning; it’s about honouring the precious life of his daughter and creating a legacy of hope and support for others facing similar challenges,” the hospital shared.

Dan and Dani founded the Billie’s Besties fund raising money for NICU in memory of their beautiful daughter.

For 10 days after her birth, The Women’s NICU became home for Dan, Dani and Billie.

“She never came home with us, so that was her home,” Dan said on Tipping Point.

“What they do at the NICU there is incredible. They are special people.”

Charity was the name of the game as The Block‘s stars descended for a game of Tipping Point Australia – with Dan, judge Shaynna Blaze and of course host Scott Cam fronting out ahead of The Block Season 21 premiere on July 27.

The trio swapped hardhats and high vis for counters as they fought to raise as much money as possible for their chosen charities.
