What is the budget on The Block 2025?

Along with their schedule, it was revealed that each team would have a budget of $250,000 cash to renovate their homes.

Scotty also gave the teams a $40,000 PowerPass from Bunnings.

But even so, the host had some important budgeting advice to share, suggesting they try to save each week and reassign that cash to landscaping.

“I guarantee you when you get to the bottom you’re going to be short,” he said.

That’s why it was crucial for the teams to win more cash through Room Reveal wins, challenges and this year, a brand new weekly opportunity.

Scotty had some game-changing news. A new prize that could change the outcome of Auction Day if played right.

“Every Sunday, CommBank and I will pick a team who’s doing the very best job at managing their budget ad reward you with $10,000 cash,” he said.

That’s on top of all the usual cash being handed out by room wins, perfect 10s and challenges.

This year, it quite literally pays to keep on top of your spreadsheets!

Who is renovating which house on The Block 2025?

After a creative House Decider Challenge and a fun-filled parade through Daylesford, here’s who was left renovating each house:

House 1: Emma and Ben

House 2: Han and Can

House 3: Britt and Taz

House 4: Sonny and Alicia

House 5: Robby and Mat

This year, all five houses have exactly the same floorplan – so establishing a unique style and attention to detail is more important that ever!

The Block airs on Sundays at 7pm and continues Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 7:00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
