Scotty became a proud grandfather in March!

Scott Cam is adored by the contestants every time he visits The Block job site, but he is also beloved at home by his wife, children and now grandchildren.

The 62-year-old is a tradie, television personality, and the ultimate family man. So aside from what we see of his charming personality on the Channel Nine renovation show, what do we know about Scott Cam’s family life?

Who is Scott Cam’s wife?

Scott is married to his soulmate and school teacher, Ann.

After travelling Australia as a carpenter with his girlfriend of two-years – who then broke up with him – he returned home to be with his mother. Upon his return, he travelled to the Blue Mountains to watch his friends play football when he saw Ann.

It was love at first sight for Scotty, watching Ann sit on the sidelines of the football game in 1989.

“Ann was very beautiful, but I also could see she was nice. That night, I told Mum I’d met the girl I was going to marry,” he confessed to the Sydney Morning Herald in 2022.

Their first interaction was nothing short of romantic. Scotty’s proposal, however, went a bit differently…

“I’d like to say I had a romantic story about my marriage proposal, but we were living together, and I said I’d like to get married, and Ann agreed,” he told the publication.

The lovebirds wed in 1992, marking 33 years of marriage in 2025. And his secret to a happy marriage?

“You have to work hard at a marriage. Just be nice to each other, then no one is unhappy,” he said.

Aside from the extremely rare moments Scotty Cam talks about his marriage, Ann does make the odd appearance on Instagram posing with friends or celebrating their children’s milestones.

Who are Scotty Cam’s children?

A few years after their wedding, Scott and Ann welcomed their first child together, a son named Charlie born in 1996. And oh boy, did they produce a Scotty Cam clone!

Charlie, roughly around 29-years-old, is currently working as a structural engineer after graduating from the University of Technology.

But he isn’t the only Cam to graduate from the same university! Scott and Ann’s youngest children are twins Bill and Sarah, born in September 1999. All three children graduated in May 2022.

“Proud parents today, first son has graduated from uni with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with First Class Honours and Bachelor of Business with Distinction. My heart is full,” Scott wrote of Charlie.

He added: “Now it’s the twins turn to graduate. Bill and Sarah, congratulations on finishing your Bachelor degrees with flying colours. My heart is now officially overflowing!!!”

Is Scott Cam a grandfather?

Yes! Scotty became a proud grandfather on March 25, 2025, to little Tiggy Cam. Charlie welcomed his first daughter with partner Amber.

“As of 5 weeks ago, I became a grandfather to beautiful Tiggy. I’m so proud of Charlie and Amber, she is absolutely gorgeous,” Scott captioned an announcement post on Instagram.

Scotty’s already decided which football team Tiggy is cheering for, dressing her up in Rooster’s attire for her first game.
