The Block’s Sonny and Alicia accused Han and Can of copying one of their standout features for the Hepburn Spa challenge.

While the teams on The Block have mostly been playing happy families throughout the season so far, it seems that the bubble has finally popped. Tuesday night’s episode saw House 4’s Sonny and Alicia accuse House 2’s Han and Can of copying a feature from their Hepburn Spa challenge room: a heated bench seat.
Sonny and Alicia have yet to win a challenge and have been working hard to win this one, which would give them a $260,000 caravan prize. However, they realised that Han and Can had copied their idea, without having to do the hard work themselves of figuring out how to make the heated bench work.

Sonny had to work around the clock to come up with a plan to bring his idea to life, and was left seriously unimpressed when Wyatt from Hotwire told him that he received a call from House 2 asking to install the same thing.
Sonny and Alicia were fuming, telling the cameras, “Today’s the day The Block changes”. They quickly confronted Han, who said that their tradie told them a workaround that was separate from all of Sonny’s work.

Alicia didn’t believe her, and Han explained what had happened to Can, saying, “They both f**king ripped me to shreds, I cannot take any more. I need to get out of here, Candace”.
Can, meanwhile, apologised to Alicia, who took this as meaning they are admitting guilt, with Sonny saying, “They’re not sorry, they just feel bad they’ve been caught”.
Alicia, Mat, Han, and Can then had dinner together, with the couple telling Alicia they don’t even want the caravan, so if they win, they’ll give it to Sonny and Alicia.
“If someone accused me of doing something I didn’t do, I would fight to the death to prove that I was innocent,” Mat told the cameras.
Footage from the day before was then aired, showing Han unsure how to make the wiring work for a heated bench seat, until a tradie shows them House 4’s area, proving she knew what Sonny and Alicia had done.
Han immediately denied any wrongdoing, but Can immediately apologised, making Sonny and Alicia think they knew what they were doing. Photo: Nine
The Block viewers divided over House 2 and 4’s major blow-up
The Block fans were left quite divided by the whole situation, with one viewer writing, “Wow can’t believe the girls copied H4. The proof is in the editing and they straight out lied.”
“Sonny and Alicia are way out of line,” another said. “If I wanted to do something and my builders said they know a way to do it… you take it! Imagine them carrying on like this to you! Pure jerks!”

“It is a competition, Sonny did the research and designed this himself,” a third hit back.
“The builder only knew how to do it because Sonny did the research,” someone else agreed.
“Han doesn’t seem to have a very big vocabulary and doesn’t articulate anything she says very well,” another said. “If they are innocent, wouldn’t you be doing everything to prove it… Otherwise guilty.”
“The evidence at the end showed the girls talking to their builders – builders suggested that they put in a heated seat etc. The builders, I believe, also suggested doing the opening box etc. Clearly they had been in and looked at the others before suggesting it to Han and Can,” one person added. “It’s a competition. Doesn’t make it fair.”
“If they didn’t want anyone to know, then hide your bloody wiring,” yet another said. “That’s the idea of a challenge, do what you need to to win, else don’t bother. Sonny didn’t cover his tracks enough, his fault entirely.”
