Ivan Demidov already seems to have a very good friend in the Montreal Canadiens locker room.

It started at the last draft, but there’s clearly something special developing between Demidov and Hutson.

I think we’re witnessing the start of a great “bromance” between the two young Canadiens prodigies.

First, there’s Demidov, who mentioned Hutson’s name in almost every interview. He was clearly really excited to play with him!

Then there’s Hutson, who has shown up for each of Demidov’s optional skates since last Thursday, and now there’s this:

It turns out Lane Hutson is driving Ivan Demidov around, he’s playing chauffeur for him.

I love it!

Hutson clearly seems to have taken Demidov under his wing.

This is the kind of behind-the-scenes tidbit from the Montreal Canadiens that’s really fun to learn.

Hutson and Demidov will have the chance to play their first game together tonight, and it promises to be something special to watch.
