Farmer Wants A Wife fans have noticed that Chloe, an ‘intruder’ on Farmer Corey’s farm, appears to be getting somewhat of a ‘villain edit’ because she has a ‘stronger personality’ type. This culminated in an awkward moment where Keeley and Jadee used the Honesty Dinner as a way to grill Chloe.

The dinner saw Chloe being asked several hard questions about why she’s on the show and whether she thinks she and Corey are compatible. In a move that the original girls likely didn’t see happening, Corey comforted Chloe, whom he believed was honest and vulnerable during her time in the spotlight.

Now, Annie, who left the show on Tuesday night, has revealed to Yahoo Lifestyle whether or not Chloe is the same person she is being perceived as on the show.

Annie, who was an intruder just like Chloe, reveals whether viewers are seeing the real version of Chloe on their screens, telling us, “Chloe is so unapologetically herself. I find it interesting that she’s the loud one, but I think it’s just the situation we were in. And, I think Keeley has said this, and I definitely feel the same way, but I’m not a very quiet person – I’m quite outgoing, but so is Keeley, and I think in that situation it is just unusual.

“I definitely took a bit of a step back and tried to just take everything in,” she adds. “Chloe is just herself, she’s just really bubbly, and she comes across as maybe having a very strong personality, but I think she has just a beautiful personality, and this really elegant confidence about her.”

Responding to the audience reaction to Chloe, Annie says of her confidence, “I think it’s just coming across in a cocky way, when it’s really not like that at all.”

Speaking about the filming experience, Annie says that while she expected long days and for only some of what was shot to be onscreen, she says she was “surprised” by some of the moments she has seen.

“The drama between the girls and Chloe, I just really didn’t think it was that deep,” she says. “Like, being there, I was maybe so blissfully unaware of that happening. Watching it back, I think we’re just laughing about it, because there was so much more to [our experience].”

She explains that she and the other girls still chat, saying, “While the show’s on, it’s just nice to have people who are there and understand and just laugh about it.”

Speaking of the moments she wished viewers saw from her time on the show, Annie shares, “I think me being vulnerable, and, you know, there’s some silly moments on camera, none of which was shown. So I think I’m a little disappointed that they didn’t show that and they focused more on the drama side of things. But that’s TV.”

Referencing future seasons of the show, she says, “I would just hope that they focus more on the love story and farm life as well.”
