Farmer Corey sent home fan favourite Jadee-Lee on Monday night, making Keeley and Chloe his final two ladies.

This year’s season of Farmer Wants A Wife has been a wild ride for the farmers and the women, and let’s not forget – the viewers at home. With three out of five of the farmers having already made their final choice (with Farmer Thomas choosing Clarette on Monday night), it’s down to the tail end for farmers Corey and Jack.

And viewers were left stunned to see Corey send fan favourite, Jadee-Lee, home, leaving his final two as Keeley and Chloe. Fans have suggested the farmer made the “wrong” choice, but also that he is only thinking of himself and making seemingly “unreasonable” demands of the women, saying he’d want them to move to the farm immediately if they were chosen.

It was a very emotional farewell, and came right after Jadee told Corey that she would “pack up and move [to the farm] in a heartbeat.” She told him, “To me, love is everything. I do see myself falling for you,” with Corey responding, “Thank you so much, you’ve got me speechless.”

The sweet moment was immediately followed by Corey having to announce who was going to go home, and Jadee likely had no doubts after that conversation that she would be staying. It was also in stark contrast to the seemingly heated conversation Corey and Keeley had about her not moving to the farm for three to six months.

Keeley said before the farewell that she wasn’t feeling confident, adding it felt “up in the air” over who might leave.

Corey described the journey so far as “an absolute roller coaster,” adding he’s loved getting to know the three women.

“Unfortunately, tonight, I’m faced with a very difficult decision of sending someone home,” Corey told them. “It’s something I really haven’t taken lightly at all, and it’s been weighing on me pretty heavily. These farewells are getting incredibly hard.”

“The lady that I’m sending home tonight, she’ll have no issues at all finding a future partner I believe, she is absolutely amazing… unfortunately, the lady that I’m sending home tonight is Jadee.”

Jadee seemed speechless at first, telling the cameras, “I am shocked that it’s me, because I did really picture myself in this life. But obviously Corey didn’t. I’m very proud of who I am and what I’ve shown and what I’ve done and everything I’ve said.”

“I do have a lot to take away [from this experience], if it’s not love, so I’m grateful.”

For his part, Corey did appear sad, saying, “It’s hard to know if I’ve made the right decision, I feel pretty numb.”

Farmer Wants A Wife fans have expressed throughout this season that they think Jadee was the right person for Corey, so it was definitely quite a surprise to many.

“Wow that was a shock with Jadee going home,” one viewer wrote. “Don’t these farmers have a long hard think before send them home? Keeley said she [wasn’t] ready to move too soon.”

“He made the wrong choice in my opinion,” another agreed.

“Corey got that wrong,” a third wrote. “One girl is too young and his mates didn’t like the other girl. Jadee was perfect.”

“Totally agree he has stuffed his choice up,” someone else said.

“I don’t think he will pick any,” one person guessed.

“I felt sorry for her, hoped he would have picked her, thought she was more suited to him and would have been good on the farm,” another wrote.

“I truly expected him and Jadee to end up together,” one person added.

Many others were left fuming at Corey for wanting whoever he chooses to move to the farm immediately, with one person saying, “I liked him until last night. Went off him when he said he wanted whoever he chose to move immediately, 6 months isn’t long and reasonable.

“Then he let Jadee pour her heart out and say she had strong feelings for him only to return to the table and send her home in front of the others. He could have saved her the humiliation and stopped her before she said all that.”

“Corey needs to be more patient,” another agreed. “Keeley is 22 and has a career and family mate!”

“How about he offers, ‘How can I help you? How can I support you to move your whole career and life?’ It’s all about him!” a third wrote.

“It’s all about Corey and what he can get out of it…” someone else wrote.

“Yes Corey has gone down a lot in my estimation,” yet another added.
