Florida Panthers vs Toronto Maple Leafs

The Florida Panthers are trending in the media for their odd lineup choice against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday, and now an NHL analyst believes they should be investigated for purposely losing.

Suspicions began raising when the Panthers decided to hold back several players from their lineup against the Detroit Red Wings, despite Florida being on the verge of falling down a spot in their division.

Aleksander Barkov, Sam Reinhart, Sam Bennett, Nico Sturm and Dmitry Kulikov were all last minute decisions to be held out, certainly an interesting move.

The Florida Panthers already had Aaron Ekblad and Matthew Tkachuk out as well, and they now sit just two points away from being relegated to the first Wildcard spot in the Eastern Conference, and they want that to happen?

But according to one NHL analyst, Paul Bissonnette, the Florida Panthers want to fall back to the Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference in hopes to have a matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs, who they took out in last year’s playoffs.

That one analyst, Paul Bissonnette, even put on his tinfoil hat to bring up a conspiracy, and he believes that the Florida Panthers need to be investigated.

Are the Panthers and Marchand tanking to line up with a Leafs first round match up?!

We need investigators looking into this.

Paul Bissonnette is not the only one to believe there’s suspicions with the Florida Panthers lineup moves on Sunday, and believe something should be done about it for alleged match-fixing.

The Florida Panthers should be investigated for match fixing.
