Robert Irwin‘s followers were definitely reaching for tissues when he showed a sweet way that he remembered his dad, the late Steve Irwin.

On a flight, the upcoming “Dancing with the Stars” contestant showed that he chose to watch his dad’s film “The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course.”

“When the in-flight movie selection is elite,” he wrote of the film being available to choose from and showed scenes from the beloved film.

And fans of both the father and son took to the comments to share how much they miss the iconic conservationist and TV personality.

“This is precious! Following in your daddy’s footsteps! He would be so proud of you!” one commenter wrote.

“Just a boy. On a flight with his dad,” another fan sweetly added.

Among fans however, were Robert’s mom and sister who also couldn’t help but comment.

“Super special,” mom Terri wrote, while Bindi simply said, “The best.”

“The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course” released in 2002 and the famed father passed away in 2006 when Robert was just three years old.

Robert along with his mom and Bindi have continued to work in conservationism in Australia and have become established names in the US as well thanks to their animal expertise and regular TV appearances. Bindi also won “Dancing With The Stars” in 2015.
