A very telling photo of Karl Stefanovic has debunked the myth surrounding his actual height.

The picture in question made the rounds on Instagram this week and shows Stefanovic beaming beside Andy Lee on the Today Show, where the Aussie comedian promoted his new series Do Not Watch This Show.

In the cheerful snap, Stefanovic, 50, could be seen embracing Lee with his co-host Sarah Abo who grinned with the trio in a burgundy ensemble.

However, Stefanovic was visibly dwarfed by the popular comedian.

The height difference between the two stars showed Stefanovic was a whole head smaller than Lee and almost the same height as Abo.

It comes despite Lee being 191 cm tall with a mere 13 cm height advantage over the TV star, who stands at 178 cm, according to his IMDb (Internet Movie Database) profile.

Yet the latest picture of the pair appears to show that discrepancy is even greater, with Stefanovic’s slight heel failing to do him any justice.

It’s understood Stefanovic has not publicly confirmed his actual height, which can vary according to reports.

The TV presenter in 2015 poked fun at how tall he is during a light-hearted segment on the Today show.

In the episode, Stefanovic paraded around the studio wearing a pair of bright red high heels in a bid to “understand what women go through”.

When journalist Sylvia Jeffreys poked fun at the star’s stature, he responded by saying he has “other attributes”.

One of those attributes could be Stefanovic’s new slim physique, which he showed off at a lavish book launch in Sydney last month.

His trimmed-down figure was noticeable and comes thanks to the star’s lifestyle change, following a snap that made headlines of him emerging from the water at a beach in Byron Bay on Christmas Day 2019.

The journalist subsequently embarked on a 10-week weight loss challenge on the Today show in 2020, during which he lost 8 kilograms.

The feat saw Stefanovic drop from 105 kg to 97 kg, reported 9Now and The Advertiser.
