There’s never a dull moment when Ivan Demidov is around, and today in Brossard proved just that. As the summer winds down and the hockey world waits for the new season, Demidov’s passion for the game is already on full display.

The Montreal Canadiens’ top draft pick has been making headlines for weeks with his relentless energy and love for being on the ice, and today he gave fans yet another reason to be excited.

While most players are still easing back into their routines, Demidov couldn’t wait any longer—eagerly jumping onto the rink even before the Zamboni had finished its rounds.

His enthusiasm brought smiles and laughter to those watching, highlighting just how much he’s itching to get started in Montreal.

Surrounded by teammates and familiar faces, Demidov’s commitment and excitement are impossible to miss. As the city recovers from a busy offseason and prepares for the return of its hockey heroes, moments like these remind everyone why there’s such a buzz about this young star.

With training camp just around the corner, Demidov’s early return to the ice is a promising sign for fans hoping for big things next season.

Marc-Olivier Cook from the site DansLesCoulisses captured some interesting footage live from Brossard today – notably involving Montreal Canadiens fifth overall pick Ivan Demidov.

We’ve had proof for several weeks now, but Demidov is a true hockey fanatic.

He’s always on the ice, always eager to jump in, and we now have footage (captured today) that clearly shows it.

Ivan Demidov jumps onto the ice and starts training – while the Zamboni was still doing its rounds

It’s obviously not allowed, but I get the feeling Demidov might get a little pass for this one.

While Demidov was already out skating, Alexandre Carrier was patiently waiting on the bench.

It gave us a good laugh!

It really shows just how excited Demidov was to hit the ice.

Anyway, speaking of what happened today at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard, please note that there were in fact six players on the ice.

Ivan Demidov and Alexandre Carrier were joined by Lucas Condotta, Riley Hughes, Jack Hughes, and Jack Gorton.

We’re talking here about the sons of Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton (in reference to the last three names).

It looks like, following Nick Suzuki and Caitlin Suzuki’s wedding, several Canadiens players left Montreal over the past few days. Demidov chose to have his getaway a few weeks ago.

They should be back within a few weeks – just in time for the Montreal Canadiens’ annual golf tournament, which will take place in mid-September.

We already can’t wait!

Personally, I love seeing that Demidov is already back on the ice and sticking around in Montreal.

That can only be a good sign heading into next season.
