The excellent Maxime Truman has just announced a major development regarding 83-point forward Jordan Kyrou and the Montreal Canadiens.

According to his exclusive information, Kyrou has reportedly stated that he would say yes to the Canadiens if another major trade between Kent Hughes and Doug Armstrong were to go through. Wow!

One thing’s for sure-it’s heating up behind the scenes!

For the past few weeks, even though many of us have doubted it, well-known insiders have refused to stop linking Kyrou’s name to the Canadiens-even after Kent Hughes acquired Zachary Bolduc and Noah Dobson.

Hughes really seems to want Kyrou, and it’s intriguing because before the draft, the always well-informed Marco D’Amico reported that the Canadiens had seriously targeted two players for a trade.

The first was Noah Dobson, and the second was (you guessed it) Jordan Kyrou!

Jordan Kyrou says yes to the Montreal Canadiens and would agree to play here if a trade goes through

This is truly a breaking scoop from Maxime Truman.

“Kent Hughes reportedly still has one more top target on his shopping list:

Jordan Kyrou.

According to excellent sources close to the situation, Kyrou’s agent asked him in recent days if he would be willing to waive his no-trade clause to come to Montreal, in the event a trade is completed between the Blues and the Canadiens.

Kyrou’s response: of course, yes!”

Wow!

As Marc-Olivier Beaudoin reports, three interesting things are starting to align:

1- The Blues want to trade Kyrou.

2- The Canadiens appear extremely interested in acquiring Kyrou.

3- Kyrou wants to play for the Montreal Canadiens.

It’s starting to resemble the situation that unfolded before the Noah Dobson trade-so this is something to watch closely.

More details to follow.
