Love Island Australia’s Anna McEvoy and her husband Michael Staples have welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy.

Taking to Instagram to announce the exciting news to her 312,000 followers, Anna shared a short video of her newborn son asleep.

“He’s here, our greatest love #babyboy,” Anna captioned the post.

While Anna or Michael did not reveal their son’s name in their announcement, a family member in the comment section wrote: “And his name is Dash! Love the name choice.”

Although she didn’t reply to confirm, Anna liked the comment.

Friends, family and fans rushed to the comment section to congratulate the new parents on their adorable arrival.

“Congratulations guys,” Love Island co-star Matt Zukowski said.

“Ohhhh he’s so beautiful and from that snippet he looks your double @annamcevoy21 😍 congratulations to you both,” another wrote.

A third commented: “So happy for you both. Such a beautiful time. Enjoy every moment.”

Days earlier, Anna shared a video of her and Michael getting ready to meet their son as they prepared for a cesarean birth.

Anna and Michael announced they were expecting their first child in November with a sweet video montage showing glimpses of Anna’s pregnancy so far.

“We have been keeping a secret… you’re already so loved little one,” Anna captioned the footage.

They later had a private gender reveal, where they confirmed they were expecting a little boy.

Anna later shared images from the special day as well, alongside a message to her baby.

“To our baby boy, we love you so much & are beyond excited to meet you. On the morning of your gender reveal we found a toy truck on the beach, a little sign from the universe.

Anna and Michael got married in May 2024 in a stunning ceremony in Corfu, Greece.

The couple have been together since September 2021, Michael popped the question in October 2022, and the couple purchased their own home together in June 2023.
