Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 has yet to clock a premiere date, cast list and trailer. However, insiders are already claiming that the incoming brides and grooms are all about that “clout” rather than finding their special someone.

Unlike its competitor, Farmer Wants A WifeMAFS is known for its messy dinner parties, chaotic pairings and terrible success rate. It’s also been speculated (unsurprisingly) that most castmates are on MAFS for the fame, with many participants previously appearing on TV or attempting an influencer career before getting hitched on the show.

And while we’d hope to get a round of genuine folks who are searching for love, it’s been rumoured that the incoming MAFS bunch are mostly in it for that sweet, sweet taste of fame.

According to insiders speaking to Daily Mail Australia, next season’s participants are reportedly fanging the reality TV praise more than the potential love they could cop from the experiment, describing the incoming brides and grooms as a “bunch of clout chasers”. Ooft.

While the inside source didn’t dish on who exactly was there for the fame, Daily Mail Australia did highlight a number of rumoured 2026 bride and grooms who’ve already kick-started their careers in the limelight.

Last week, the rumoured cast for MAFS 2026 was leaked, and it included a plethora of folks who’ve already had their brush (or are continuing to brush) shoulders with famous folks.

The leaked list included sports Ankita Karungalekar and Gia Fleur, who’s been tipped to be MAFS’ “hottest bride ever, and has “partied” with Hugh Hefner and Nicki Minaj.

Reality TV star Scott McCristal — who’s previously appeared on Blind Date and Million Dollar Island — is also rumoured to get hitched in the 2026 season and according to Daily Mail Australia, Nigerian-born rapper David Momoh will also be joining in on the MAFS shenanigans.

That being said, I am NOT surprised that these folks are on here for the fame, but let’s just hope they bring the drama when the time comes. Hehehehhehe.
