Married At First Sight’s Rhi Disljenkovic has dispelled pregnancy rumours and opened up about her struggle with endometriosis and the pressure to have kids.

The bride quickly became a MAFS fan favourite thanks to her and on-screen husband Jeff Gobbel’s wholesome relationship.

The pair coasted through the experiment without a hitch and have continued their relationship outside the experiment.

With their success has come speculation Rhi was expecting, but speaking on MAFS co-star Carina Mirabile’s podcast This Is Chaos, Rhi said she was hurt by such reports.

Rhi, 35, said she and Jeff, 40, “definitely want to have kids at some stage” but are currently focusing on “creating [their] home” after recently moving in together in Melbourne.

While Rhi and Jeff are happy enjoying this phase of their relationship, Rhi admitted at times she couldn’t help but feel the pressure to start a family.

That pressure was only magnified by her age and her endometriosis diagnosis which she’s lived with for 10 years.

Rhi recalled what she was told by doctors a decade earlier: “I was told at 25 I would probably have trouble having children. They actually told me when I had surgery when I was 25 that I should have kids that year.”

The reality star remembered being perplexed by that suggestion, noting the timing just was not right.

“But I was like ‘I’m single’,” Rhi continued.

“It just sucks that women have to explain their body changes all the time.

“I’ve always been someone really proud of my body and someone confident in my body.”

Rhi and Jeff’s journey

Rhi and Jeff had one of the most unexpected starts to their Married At First Sight journey – they already knew each other!

The duo had the shock of their lives when they realised they’d previously dated for a month while meeting at the end of the aisle.

The couple had a slow but steady start to the experiment. They decided against rushing their intimate relationship and worked to get outside the friendzone.

When that eventually happened, sparks flew and they became Season 12’s most successful couple.

At Final Vows they committed to a life together and at the Reunion they finally said “I love you” to one another.

In May 2025, they confirmed to 9Entertainment they’d officially moved in together.

“I know we did live together in the experiment, but [moving in outside] really just cemented our strong relationship,” Rhi said.

“I think that was a big step for our relationship. We came out of the experiment, and in such a short space of time, we decided to move in with each other,” Jeff agreed.

“It was just really cool being able to pick out the stuff you want for your own apartment and really build a home together,” he continued.

“We moved into a new place that neither of us had lived in before, so it was starting fresh. I think we probably undervalue with how important that moment was, how big that moment was for our relationship.”
